HF Brings Baseball Excitement to Local Youth Through Community Outreach

- HF hosts a sports experience event for local youth and awards a scholarship to nurture future talent

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Kyung-Hwan) announced on August 28, 2025, that it hosted a special social contribution event and donation ceremony on August 27 at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan, aimed at providing cultural and sports experiences for local children. <Image attached>

The event, held in collaboration with ChildFund Korea, was designed to offer underprivileged children in the Busan area a memorable experience at a professional baseball game and to foster a sense of connection with the local community. HF staff and university student volunteers helped approximately 400 children attend the game, while HF also awarded a KRW 3 million scholarship to a rising youth baseball talent.

HF CEO Kim Kyung-Hwan commented, “We hope this initiative gives children in our community greater access to meaningful cultural and sports experiences. HF remains committed to supporting the healthy development of local youth through impactful community engagement.”

Meanwhile, the ceremonial first pitch and first at-bat were carried out by Lee Hong-ryul, Ambassador of ChildFund Korea, and the scholarship recipient, adding a symbolic and inspiring moment to the event.
