HF receives "Social Bond of the Year - Sovereign" at the Environmental Finance 2025 Sustainable Debt Awards

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Kim Kyung-Hwan) has been awarded the “Social Bond of the Year – Sovereign” at the Environmental Finance* 2025 Sustainable Debt Awards, in recognition of HF’s performance as the world’s largest issuer of social bonds in 2024.

* Environmental Finance is an online news and analysis service established in 1999 to report on sustainable investment, green finance and the people and companies active in environmental markets. 

This award highlights the significance of HF’s continued commitment to inclusive finance through expanding housing finance for low-to-moderate income households.

Looking ahead, HF will continue to strengthen its ESG bond issuance capabilities through sustainability bonds and green bonds, further enhancing its role in the global sustainable finance market.
