HF donates coolers for solo seniors in Busan

- The tips for safe and cool summer are handed out as well.

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) donated coolers for the seniors living alone in Busan. 

HF announced on June 18 that it held a cooler delivery ceremony with the General Welfare Hall for The Aged Busan Metropolitan City(Director Lee Hee-Bae) and the Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone (Director Park Seon-Hee) at the Busan Social Welfare Complex Center in Nakmin-dong, Busan. The donation was made to help seniors maintain their health during a sweltering summer.  (Photo Attached)

A HF spokesperson said, “We delivered coolers to 50 solo seniors listed by the General Welfare Hall for the Aged Busan Metropolitan City and the Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone. With coolers, tips for the elderly to keep cool and health in summer will be handed out as well.”

Between 2019 and 2023, HF donated a total of 2,310 fans for local seniors living alone. This year, it provided coolers to the elderly whose living condition had them exposed to heat.
