A Home of Hopes to Needy Neighbors

KHFC participates in "Building Home of Love" on September 12

KHFC President & CEO Ryu Jae-han and staff volunteered for 'Habitat for Humanity', a campaign to build homes for low-income households that do not own houses.

On September 12, about 30 KHFC employees, mostly from the KHFC Bogeumjari Volunteer Group, gathered together at the construction site of "Village of Hope" in Gyochon-ri, Mokcheon-eup, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do and, although unskilled, sweated all day long cutting wood and hammering.

Before beginning his voluntary service that day, President & CEO Ryu donated KRW20 million, raised by KHFC employees, to Habitat Cheonan-Ansan Affiliate and asked that the money be spent to improve the housing environment of low-income households without homes.

Since the launch of its Bogeumjari Volunteer Group in June last year, KHFC has participated in the Habitat campaign four times so far. The group is also engaged in various social contribution activities, including the 'One Company -One Village Fishery Village Love Campaign' and environment protection activities.
