- KHFC to participate in Senior and People with Disabilities Expo 2009

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC, CEO Joo-jae Lim) will participate in the Senior and People with Disabilities Expo 2009 to promote its Jootaekyeonkeum (JTYK) reverse mortgage product. The expo will be held at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do from Thursday, September 3, 2009 to Saturday, September 5, 2009.     

During the event, KHFC will operate a consultation window within its PR booth to provide information and consultations on JTYK. Senior visitors can check their eligibility and expected monthly payments from KHFC staff, and also receive detailed answers to questions they may have about reverse mortgages. In addition, KHFC will operate a dart competition three times a day and give out various gifts to participants.

The Senior and People with Disabilities Expo 2009 is an international fair of corporations and associations involved in the senior industry, including medical services, welfare, finance, leisure, and disability equipment. The expo is open from 10am and closes at 6pm.

JTYK is a program for senior citizens aged 60 years and above (minimum age applies to both spouses) to use their house as collateral and receive monthly pensions from financial institutions. The program offers stability in both housing and livelihood to those owning a home but without a sufficient monthly income.
