“ HF delivers Love Hometown Fund to a sisterhood village ”

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Joo-jae Lim) announced on June 21 that it held a ceremony to deliver “Love Hometown Fund” at Chocheon 2-ri Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do with a “one company-one village sisterhood tie”.

HF subscribed to “My Love My Hometown Deposit”, a public product of NongHyup (the National Agricultural Cooperatives Federation, or NACF) last year and with the fund raised through the subscription, it is supporting the development of local communities and disadvantaged people.

The raised fund goes to rural villages nationwide to be used as part of corporate social responsibility activities. This time, some of the fund went to the sisterhood village of Chocheon 2-ri to remodel and repair public facilities.

“ I believe that it is very meaningful to support the development of local communities by raising a social contribution fund through managing deposits for public interest” said HF director Hae-don Lee, who participated in the fund-delivery ceremony. “HF will continue to make efforts to secure public interest in managing funds as a public agency.”

Meanwhile, HF has continued to engage in exchange activities such as helping out the village during busy farming seasons and group purchase of produce since establishing a sisterhood tie with Chocheon 2-ri, Eumseong-eup Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do in 2008.
