KHFC Rolls up Its Sleeves to Help the Sisterhood Villages

-  One company-one village tie for volunteer work to help out farmers -

The management and staff of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC) visited Chocheon 2-ri village in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do province, its sisterhood village, on May 29 and did volunteer work to help farmers. KHFC began a sisterhood relationship with this village in 2008 and has been helping out the farmers there ever since.

About 30 members of the Bogeumjari Volunteer Group, a volunteer group at KHFC, took the lead in helping farmers by setting up supports for chili peppers, planting sweet potatoes and beans, and weeding strawberry fields and ginseng fields.
