CEO Kim Jae-Chun of Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) (see the image below) attended the opening
ceremony for 2015 held at HF headquarters in the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC) on the 2nd. He
delivered his new year's message at the ceremony, stating that HF will reinforce its market-focused functions
in service of its social mission, thereby contributing to stable housing for low-to middle-income households.

In his message, CEO Kim stressed, "This year, HF employees must spare no efforts to support the government's
housing policies, particularly in supporting its efforts to improve the structural soundness of household debt,
to respond timely to structural changes in the leasing market, to stabilize the Jeonse lease and monthly rental
markets, and to invigorate the JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK) reverse mortgage loan program." He also added, "We
will strive to enhance risk management, such as strengthening delinquency management, ensuring thorough
income, and bolstering our response to changes in the economic environment.”

In addition, he said, "I will make every endeavor to establish a sound corporate culture to further our employees'
commitment to public service and their expertise,” remarking that with its headquarters now in Busan, HF will also
find ways to contribute to the local community and put those ideas into action. In closing, he urged HF employees
to take the current challenging economic environment as an opportunity to prepare for the next 10 years, thereby
improving HF's status as an agency specialized in housing finance.
