HF Awards‘HF Local Talent Scholarship’  

- Scholarships offered to 36 middle- and high-school students in Busan  

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on June 13, 2019, that it had presented its ‘HF Local Talent Scholarship’ at the Busan headquarters of Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea (Director Yeo Seung-Soo) on the 12th to cultivate local talents in Busan <See the image below>.

HF scholarships were offered to 36 middle- and high-school students recommended by Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education for their excellence in academic performance and behavior.  

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We hope that HF scholarships will help these future leaders of our local community pursue their studies and grow into talents equipped with core competencies for the future. We will not spare any support for young students so that they can build the essential skills and abilities needed in the future.”    

Since relocating its headquarters to Busan in 2014, HF has continued to provide scholarships to outstanding local students. It also has been taking the lead in local-community-friendly social contribution efforts for shared growth with the local community. These include the Dream House Program for improved living conditions; the Ieum Program for more senior jobs; and continued support for social enterprises.
