HF steps up for finance, economy and science education for locals.

- HF and the Busan National Science Museum signed an MOU signing for development of Busan city.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on 29 June that it concluded an MOU with the Busan National Science Museum (Director Kim Young Hwan) for a close cooperation on Finance, Economy and Science Conversion eduction for Local Communities’. (Photo Attached)

The two institutions agreed to cooperate in diverse sectors including; finance, economy and science conversion education program development and operation for the youth and citizens, mutual exchanges of HR and other resources, and promotion for the education program.

The museum holds a finance, economy and science Conversion education for youth and citizens this coming August, where Min Byung Cheol, and Kim Gwang Wook, researchers of HF Housing Finance Research Institute, will give a lecture on ‘Machine Learning 101 (AI Basic Course)’, and ‘Finance through mathematics respectively.

Dr. Min said, “The conversion education program reflects the recent trend where boundaries between finance and science are blurred. With the rise of ChatGPT, now many young students get to be interested in AI. Hopefully, the class will help them to understand how AI is applied in finance.”
