KHFC holds Family Night for newly hired employees

Plan announced to increase employment opportunities for people living on the margins

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC, CEO Joo-jae Lim) held a welcome dinner for families of newly hired employees on February 14, 2011 at the Korea Federation of Banks. The event was organized to congratulate 13 new employees hired among 15 interns who had entered KHFC last September and to express appreciation to their family members. It was part of KHFC's family-friendly management program.

Under the presence of CEO Lim and all directors (including head of sales offices), new employees hung a carnation on the chest of their parents and in return were hung a KHFC badge and ID card from their parents, offering a heart-warming sight.

At the dinner, CEO Lim thanked the parents for raising their children to be responsible persons for so long and with so much care. He emphasized that ″as the backbone of the corporation, KHFC employees are dedicated to realizing the goal of being a financial partner of the people for life, thus contributing to the promotion of people's welfare and advancement of the economy.″ He also added, ″By allocating 40% or more of available positions to talents from non-metropolitan areas and instituting a quota for female personnel (30%), KHFC will continue to expand employment opportunities for people living on the margins.″
