KHFC Offers KRW 278.2 Billion in Bogeumjari Loans in February

 KHFC provided KRW 278.2 billion (3,414 loans) in bogeumjari loans in February 2007, an increase of KRW 36.8 billion (458 loans) or 15.24% over the KRW 241.4 billion in January 2007. E-mortgage loans accounted for KRW 159.2 billion (1,685 loans) or 57.2% of the total February bogeumjari loans.

 The supply of bogeumjari loans has increased steadily since November 2006, which can be attributed to a change in customers' awareness about fixed-rate products and the greater competitiveness of bogeumjari loans compared to the floating-rate products offered by commercial banks.
