KHFC Offers KRW 241.4 Billion in Bogeumjari Loans in January

 KHFC provided KRW 241.4 billion (2,956 loans) in bogeumjari loans in January 2007, an increase of KRW 72.4 billion (846 loans) or 42.84% over December 2006. E-mortgage loans accounted for KRW 126.8 billion (1,331 loans) or 52.53% of the total January bogeumjari loans.

 The recent surge in the supply of bogeumjari loans can be attributed to their more competitive interest rate, because as the interest rates of floating rate loans have increased, the fixed interest rates of bogeumjari loans have not changed.
