HF and KSA to Hold a Joint Policy Symposium

- Experts will gather to discuss future directions for the development of domestic and overseas covered bond markets

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) announced on December 15, 2021, that it held a joint policy symposium with the Korean Securities Association (KSA) under the theme ‘The Current Status of Overseas Covered Bond Issuance and Policy Suggestions’ <see image below>.

The Symposium will feature two thematic presentations: ‘The Current Status of Domestic and Overseas Covered Bond Markets (HF, Team Head Song Wan-Young)’ and ‘The Current Status of the Recent U.S. Housing Finance Market and Its Products (KAIST, Professor Choi Hyun-Soo)’. 

Moderated by Professor Kim Joong-Hyeok (Korea University), the Symposium will also feature a discussion by Professor Lee Jang-Woo (Busan National University), Professor Sohn Pan-Do (Dong-A University), Professor Ahn Se-Ryung (Pukyong National University), and HF Director Seo Dong-Woo.
