Non-executive Directors' Participation in Business Management Increased

- A business management deliberative organization made up of non-executive directors was set up as a first among public institutions in Korea

KHFC became Korea's first public institution involved in funds management to set up a business management deliberative organization composed of non-executive directors.

On September 19, KHFC announced that it would set up and operate a Specialized Deliberation Committee in order to increase the role and authority of non-executive directors and broaden their opportunities to actually participate in business management.

In the newly set-up committee, seven non-executive directors will deliberate on and supervise major business management affairs in their respective areas.

KHFC plans to exploit to the full the expertise of non-executive directors in key decision-making by making it obligatory for major agenda, including the agenda for voting at the KHFC Steering Committee, to undergo deliberation by the Specialized Deliberation Committee before being presented to the Board of Directors.
