KHFC supports multi-cultural families on the occasion of Family Month

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC, CEO Joo-jae Lim) held a ceremony to deliver a sponsorship for a vocational training program offered to married immigrant women in Korea. The donation is made as part of the corporation′s multi-cultural family support initiative.

KHFC agreed to sponsor the full cost of the hairdressing and nail art training program organized by the Wolgye Social Welfare Center (located in Wolgye-dong, Nowon-gu). The center offers a number of one-year skill training programs for 20 immigrant women married in Korea and living in Nowon-gu or nearby areas for employment or business start-up. 

″In the month of May when the value of family is appreciated more than at any other times, we hope that this donation can help immigrant women get established in our society and support themselves,″ said CEO Lim at the ceremony. ″KHFC will keep an interest on multi-cultural families and continue the necessary support for them.″
