"Introduce the Behavior Scoring System in housing guarantee"

- Offer a stable housing guarantee service by strengthening the soundness of guarantees-

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on October 18 that it would introduce and operate the Behavior Scoring System (BSS) in housing guarantee to strengthen the soundness of the Housing Finance Credit Guarantee Fund.

*Behavior Scoring System: The system to score and grade customers' potential for default by using historical transaction data at financial institutions.

As the number of users increases by over 10 percent every year, HF introduced this system to check changes in credit ratings of customers on a regular basis and reflect them in making decisions on guarantee policies including extending the term.

A HF official stressed, "We will continue to provide guarantees for stabilizing the living conditions of low-income people while stably managing guarantee resources by strengthening the soundness of guarantees through operating the BSS."
