KHFC reaches out to senior citizens living alone

- Participates in the "Sharing of Side Dishes with Love" program organized by the Red Cross -

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC, CEO Seo Jong-dae) visited the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross located in Majang-dong, Seoul on May 30 and took part in the "Sharing of Side Dishes with Love" program and delivered a donation.

The donation will be used to set up kitchen equipment at the Jungnang and Nowon Red Cross Volunteer Center. The Sharing of Side Dishes with Love program is organized to cook and deliver side dishes to 120 low-income senior citizens living alone in Jungnang-gu and Nowon-gu.

After participating in this event, KHFC Director Lee Hae-don said, "KHFC decided to sponsor this program because population aging in Korea is increasing the need for basic welfare for low-income senior citizens living alone. Going forward, we plan for KHFC management and staff to do volunteer work in person at the Red Cross Volunteer Center."
