KHFC CEO Seo Jong-dae held the New Year's kick-off ceremony at the KHFC headquarters in downtown Seoul to mark the first business day of the new year, January 2.

In his New Year's message, CEO Seo said, "2013 will see the inauguration of the new government, which stands for 'the era of happiness for all Koreans,' and the KHFC begins to realize its new vision: the best housing finance institution supporting ordinary people." He added, "We will not rest on our laurels of last year's achievements including the doubling of housing financing, offering of conforming loans, and our top rating in business performance evaluation. We will do our best to make housing affordable and minimize the financial burdens on low-income earners and those with low credit ratings."

″In order to seamlessly facilitate over KRW 60 trillion in housing finance to low- and middle-income households this year, let's work together and create a new legend. To the extent that we all work hard, low- and middle-income families under pressure will have reasons to smile once again,〃 said Seo.
