“HF Implements Open Banking System”

 - With the new system free of ActiveX controls, HF is promoting FinTechand making its services compatible across operating systems and browsers -

Services from the Korea Housing Finance Corporation will be accessible from all operating systems
(Mac and Windows) and browsers (IE, Chrome, and Safari), starting from 2016.

The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 17th that HF is leading
the nation's efforts to promote FinTech (Financial Technology) with the launch of its new open banking system*
that eliminates ActiveX and implements alternative security controls. With the new system, customers will be able to
access HF services -- for example, applying for a u-Bogeumjari or JTYKreverse mortgage loan or checking
their loan account balances -- in a diverse and more secure environment from January 2016.

 * An open banking system expands online banking services previously available only on Windows to make them
available on other operating systems and browsers, such as Mac, Chrome, and Safari.

“Because of their strong dependency on a certain technology, ActiveX security controls have been named
as the main obstacle to the promotion of FinTech,” said an HF official. He added, “The new system is also part of
HF’s efforts towards ‘Providing Customized Services,’ a key component of the Government 3.0 initiative.”
