□ Newly-hired HF staff volunteered their time and sweat to renovate old, dilapidated neighborhoods in Busan.
□ Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 25th that its new employees
hired this month took part in the ‘HF Urban Regeneration Project,’ repainting and drawing old outdoor walls
and repairing stairways in Gaya 2-dong, Busanjjin-gu, Busan <See the image below>.
* The HF Urban Regeneration Project is a social contribution program initiated by HF and working together
with Busan Metropolitan City. This program is designed to upgrade the residential environments in certain
old inner-city areas of Busan through home repair, wall painting and drawing, and public facility
improvement.
□ An HF official said, “We expect that this project will help our new hires develop a sense of social
responsibility as members of a public agency and create a stronger bond with colleagues.”
□ Since the relocation of its headquarters to Busan in 2014, HF has been steadily increasing its social
contribution activities tailored to the local communities.
