HF Takes the Lead in Improving the Lives of the Socially Disadvantaged

HF is taking the lead in improving the lives of socially disadvantaged groups.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 26th that it has signed an agreement with the Work Together Foundation (Chairman Song Wol-Ju) for the 2017 HF Elder Care Services <see the image below>.

Launched to offer a helping hand to underprivileged groups, the HF Elder Care Services program provides not only elderly care and elderly nursing care but also mother and baby care and child care. As those who are employed to carry out these tasks are low-income earners hired by social enterprises or cooperatives, jobs for low-income groups are created through the HF social contribution program.

HF Director Chung Jae-Seon said, "By providing continued support for the program, we will be able to take the lead in offering quality care services and creating stable jobs for low-income, underprivileged people."

On the same day, HF also signed the HF Dream House Agreement with the Sharing and Future Foundation (Chairman Song Gyeong-Yong) to improve the living conditions of low-income households. This year, the program is going to offer personalized services, such as replacing wall paper and flooring and installing  hand rails, fire alarms, and other safety features.
