HF Opens NCS-Based Recruitment

- Preference granted to patriots, veterans, and their bereaved families as well as persons with disabilities or living on national basic livelihood security benefits

HF kicks off its recruitment for the year.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 19th that it will hire 53 new employees using open, competency-based recruitment based on the National  Competency Standard (NCS).

More specifically, it will hire ▲ 46 college graduates (or those with similar academic backgrounds), ▲ 3 high school graduates*, and ▲ 4 persons on a flexible working schedule (20 working hours per week). It will also set aside over 35% of the new positions for those who are not from the Seoul metropolitan area. In particular, as part of its efforts for social equity, it will offer special openings for patriots, veterans, and their  bereaved families in the category of the college graduate positions, while granting preferred eligibility to those with disabilities or living on national basic livelihood security benefits.
    * Those who will graduate from vocational high schools in February 2018

HF will receive applications through June 8, 2017, at its webpage (hf.incruit.com). Final candidates selected through document screening, a written test, and an interview will begin their internship from the end of August.

During the four-month internship period, HF will test their basic skills and job competency. After the post-internship assessment, all of the new hires, except those assessed to be unqualified, will be transferred to regular positions.

An HF official said, "We will use an NCS-based job competency test to select new talent most suitable to our job openings, no longer relying on traditional background checks based on  academic background, GPA, or English Language proficiency test scores.”
