 - Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its JooTaekYeonKeum scheme, HF holds an essay contest

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) stated on the 31st that it will open a contest for essays on JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK) from June 1, 2017, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the reverse mortgage scheme.  

The contest is open to any JTYK subscribers and their family. Those interested can submit an essay on JTYK via mail (JooTaekYeonKeum Division, 25th Floor, BIFC, 40 Munhyeongeumyung-ro, Nam-gu, Busan) or email (silver100@hf.go.kr) by June 30, 2017.

Participants are encouraged to write a free-style essay on the topics of ▲ how they came to subscribe to the JTYK scheme and ▲ how they feel about it. The length of the essay should be three A4 pages. 

Based on the criteria of the papers' down-to-earth quality, sympathetic appeal, and originality, HF will select ▲one Grand Prize winner (a prize of KRW 700,000), ▲ three Excellence Award winners (a prize of KRW 300,000), and ▲ nine Participation Award winners (a prize of KRW 100,000). It will also randomly pull the names of 30 participants in a drawing and present them with a gift. 

The winners of the contest will be posted on the HF website sometime in July 2017, and their essays will be collected into a book. 

An HF official said, "I hope that this contest will help our clients share their JTYK experiences and build the consensus that JTYK is an essential tool for happy retirement years."
