HF Receives Busan Mayor's Volunteer of the Year Award

- HF becomes the first Busan-headquartered public agency recognized for its tailored social contribution efforts

Korea Housing Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) said on the 5th that it received the 2017 Busan Mayor's Volunteer of the Year Award. Among public agencies relocated to Busan, HF is the first to receive this award <see the image below>.

According to the Busan Metropolitan Government, HF won the award for its continued efforts to pursue mutual growth with the local community through its tailored social contribution efforts since its relocation to Busan in 2014. 

HF Executive Director Chung Chae-Sun stated at the award ceremony, “We are pleased that our volunteer activities contribute to the advancement of the local community. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as a member of this community.“

With its Bogeumjari Volunteer Team, HF has offered various social contribution services to meet the needs of its local community. They include ‘HF Urban Regeneration Project’, ‘HF Fireflies,’ and ‘HF Hangul Lessons for Seniors.’ It also provides housing assistance to senior citizens and scholarships to youth, spreading the value of sharing in Busan.
