HF Appoints Kim Min-Ho, Former BOK Deputy Governor, as Vice President


Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) said on February 1, 2018, that it has named former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Korea, Kim Min-Ho, as its Vice President.


The new HF vice president graduated from Yong Moon High School, majored in economics at Seoul National University, and earned a master's degree in economics at the University of Michigan. After joining the Bank of Korea in 1986, he served as the head of the Policy Coordination Team in the Policy Planning Department, the head of the Monetary Team in the Financial Markets Department, Deputy Director of the Monetary Policy Department, and Deputy Director of the International Department. After decades of service in various key positions at the central bank, he was named the bank's Deputy Governor in January 2015.  


HF Vice President Kim said in his inaugural remarks that he will exert his best efforts to promote housing welfare for the public and advance housing finance services based on his hands-on knowledge and experience accumulated in the field of financial services and policy execution from his over three decades-long career.
