- HF seeks to become the best company that leads the future through realizing social values

The new CEO of Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF), Lee Jung-Hwan, was inaugurated and took office at the HF headquarters in Busan on January 3, 2018. (see the image below)

In his inaugural address, CEO Lee said, "I will focus our core capacities on enhancing housing welfare for the public and advancing the financial market, thereby raising HF's status.”

He announced the three key objectives of his term: ▲ establishing a management system which is market-friendly and seeks solutions based on actual needs; ▲ offering working-class-friendly and compassionate services; and ▲ building a company culture that makes everyone happy. He also stressed the "importance of change and innovation to become the best housing finance company that leads the future.”

The new HF CEO graduated from Dong-A High School in Busan and majored in political science and international relations at Sungkyunkwan University. Passing the 17th National Exam for Higher Civil Services, he began his career at the Ministry of Government Administration in 1975. Since then, he has spent most of his public service career in the economic and financial sphere, serving as ▲ Director General for Treasury at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, ▲ Economic Counsellor, Delegation of Korea to the OECD, ▲ Chief of the Policy Situation Center at the Office for Government Policy Coordination, and ▲ CEO of Korea Exchange.
