Bring the Idea of JTYK to Your Parents During the Chuseok holiday!
- For travelers heading home for the Chuseok holiday, HF promotes JTYK and consults them on the reverse mortgage scheme
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on the 21st that in celebration of Chuseok, one of the nation’s most important holidays, it held an event to promote JooTaekYeonKeum* to those traveling to visit their parents for Chuseok at Seoul Station on September 20, 2018.
* JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK) is a state-guaranteed reverse mortgage loan in which senior citizens 60 years of age or older provide their owned home as collateral and receive living expenses for their post-retirement life in the form of monthly pension benefits either for the rest of their life or for a certain period of time.
During the event, HF staff carried out various activities, such as offering free travel snacks and a JTYK-themed Yut Nori game along with other gifts. They also offered on-the-spot consultations to those interested in the reverse mortgage scheme and handed out a small promotional comic book on JTYK.
HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We all wish you a happy and joyful Chuseok with your family. We will continue to make efforts to help more seniors lead happy post-retirement lives with the JTYK scheme, which ensures them a lifetime income stream while they continue to live in their homes.”
