- HF expands video consultation service through collaboration with related agencies
For those interested in the JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK) reverse mortgage but living too far from an HF branch office to visit in person or uncomfortable with calling to consult, video consultation* is now available to help easily access product information. HF has just launched the service at its Busan Regional Headquarters and will soon roll it out at other HF branches.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) said on the 1st that it will expand its JTYK video consultation service to other HF branch offices through collaboration with related state-run agencies, including the National Pension Service (NPS) and Korea Association of Senior Welfare Centers. The service saves those interested in JTYK a visit to an HF branch office. They can consult with an HF product consultant on the reverse mortgage product via PC-based online video consultation at their convenience from 9am to 6pm at the NPS Busan Headquarters or a nearby senior welfare center*.
* Senior welfare centers offering the service: Busan Jangsan Senior Welfare Center, Dongducheon Senior Welfare Center, Yangpyeong Senior Welfare Center, Bundang Senior Welfare Center, Gunsan Senior Welfare Center, and Bucheon Ojeong Senior Welfare Center
An HF official said, “For customers who cannot visit our branch office in person or do not think that telephone consultation is sufficient, we’ve launched this service to help them comfortably consult us on JTYK and easily understand the scheme via video consultation. We will expand the video consultation service by working with local autonomous government units, including municipal, district, and sub-district offices.”
