HF Offers Seniors Ginseng Chicken Soup in Celebration of Midsummer
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on the 27th that it visited the Nam-gu Senior Welfare Center in Daeyeon-dong, Busan, for its midsummer celebration “Ginseng Chicken Soup Day”.
HF carries out this annual midsummer celebration to offer elderly Busan citizens healthy summer meals each year. This year, the Bogeumjari Volunteer Group, made up of HF President Lee Jung-Hwan and other HF staff, provided about 700 seniors at the Center with ginseng chicken soup, the nation’s traditional summer meal.
HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “I hope our seniors stay safe and healthy during the sweltering summer months. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities by giving back to disadvantaged people in our community.”
