HF Wins the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the Korea Sharing Awards

- The award honors HF's contribution to spreading a culture of sharing through its customized social contribution efforts

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) stated on October 16, 2018, that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the 2018 Korea Sharing Awards.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Community Chest of Korea, and the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), the Awards recognizes and celebrates individuals and organizations that take the lead in practicing sharing in our society, honoring their efforts and fostering a culture of sharing.

HF was highly recognized for its Bogeumjari Volunteer Team’s steadfast social contribution efforts. More specifically, the employee-led volunteer team has offered a range of programs, including ▲ ‘HF Dream House,’ a program to improve dilapidated residential environments of vulnerable households; ▲ ‘HF Continued Employment for Seniors,’ a senior job program to help seniors fill gaps between government-offered jobs; and ▲ ‘Child Care for Working Moms,’ an afterschool program for working moms and career-interrupted moms who wish to reenter the job market.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “I am glad that the dedication of our employees to their underserved neighbors has been helpful to the community. We will continue to do our best to improve people’s welfare and disseminate a culture of sharing in our society.”
