u-Bogeumjari Loan Payment Due Dates Can Be Changed with One Call

- HF starts sending a letter of notice on its mobile-based mortgage loan services

From now on, u-Bogeumjari customers can change their auto-pay account and payment due date with one call.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) stated that starting from December 19, 2018, it will launch a new mobile service that allows its u-Bogeumjari customers to change their auto-pay account and payment due dates with a single call after verifying their identity using the Kakao Pay verification service. Before this service, u-Bogeumjari customers had to visit an HF branch office in person or submit a written request to make such changes.

HF is also introducing a Blockchain-based mobile notice* system for its u-Bogeumjari and other mortgage loans management business. With the mobile notice service, u-Bogeumjari loan customers receive mortgage-related notices via their KakaoTalk application installed with the Kakao Pay identity verification feature. For customers without a smartphone or the Kakao Talk application, HF will continue providing notices via mail.
    * The mobile notice will have the same legal effect as that of registered mail. It enables HF to check the sending and receipt of documents online and on a real-time basis, while HF mortgage customers can read HF notices after verifying their identity.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “In line with an ever-increasing number of smartphone-based financial services, we’ve expanded our mobile services to ensure both customer convenience and security. HF will continue to improve our systems so that our customers can use HF products conveniently and safely.”

For the smooth launch of its mobile notice service, HF signed the ‘MOU for the Promotion and Facilitation of the Use of Electronic Documents’ with Korea Internet & Security Agency on July 16, 2018.
