HF signs MOU with Suhyup Bank, which will offer JTYK from December 19, 2018
JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK)* is now going to be available at Suhyup Bank branches.
* JooTaekYeonKeum (JTYK) is a state-guaranteed reverse mortgage loan in which senior citizens 60 years of age or older provide their owned home as collateral and receive living expenses for their post-retirement life in the form of monthly pension benefits either for the rest of their life or for a certain period of time.
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) said on December 14, 2018, that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Suhyup Bank (CEO Lee Dong-Bin) for offering JTYK. Under the MOU, Suhyup Bank branches will offer JTYK starting from December 19, 2018.
HF CEO Lee Jung-hwan said, “Our MOU signed with Suhyup Bank improves the availability of JTYK. We will make further efforts to ensure housing security and a stable post-retirement life for senior citizens.”
HF also signed an MOU with Nonghyup Mutual Finance on November 23, 2018, to make its JTYK programs readily available at all local Agricultural and Livestock Cooperatives from next year.
