HF Leads Efforts to Expand Sales Channels for Social Enterprises


- HF signs MOU with Busan Social Economic Distribution Center


Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on April 201, 2019, that it reached the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Advancing the Local Economy and Promoting the Social Economy with Busan Social Economic Distribution Center (Director Lim Gyeong-Su) at Busan International Finance Center at Munhyeongeumyung-ro, Busan, on the 20th.    


By concluding the MOU, the two institutions will join hands to build a network for the promotion of public procurement and to carry out a range of joint projects designed to ▲ expand the public procurement of products and services offered by Busan-based social enterprises and ▲ hold a collective purchasing fair for HF employees. Through such efforts, they aim to boost the local economy as well as the social economy. In addition, HF plans to introduce social enterprises via its official blog, Facebook page, and other SNS accounts, helping them take advantage of new sales channels.  


HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We hope that this MOU can contribute to the growth of social enterprises in Busan and the development of the local economy. We will continue to help expand sales channels for social enterprises and thereby create social value.”  


At the same time, HF is continuing to offer the employees of social enterprises preferential treatment, such as lower jeonse loan guarantee fees and interest rates, as well as relaxed guarantee qualifications to reduce their housing costs.
