HF Wins Prize in the Education Category at Korea Service Grand Prix

KSI highly recognizes HF’s contribution to the enhancement of financial welfare through Retirees’ Finance Academy 

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on the 29th that it received the Grand Prize in the education category at the 2019 Korea Service Grand Prix* held by Korea Institute of Service Industry (KSI, Director Park Gwang-Moo) at the National Assembly Building located in Uisadang-daero, Seoul.  

 * The Korea Service Grand Prix honors institutions and individuals with outstanding customer satisfaction and service quality in the categories of ▲finance, ▲public service, ▲education, and ▲the Fourth Industrial Revolution area under the sponsorship of the National Assembly of Korea and related government ministries.

HF was highly recognized for the Retirees’ Finance Academy, a financial literacy and retirement planning lecture program. Since its launch in 2015, the program has offered lectures to around 12,000 elderly people across the nation, improving their financial literacy and access to financial information and, as a result, enhancing their financial welfare. 

HF also provides various financial lectures, including JaeMitJiYe (才美之例) HF Housing Finance Lecture, a lecture tour for college students and job-seeking graduates, and Retirement Financing Talk Concert for the general public.

An HF officer said, “It is very meaningful that we have earned external recognition for the efforts we have made to address ageing-related social challenges. We will continue to do our best to ensure a happy, well-prepared retirement for the elderly.”
