Customized Education to Enhance Youth Employability

HF inks MOU for Open Campus with BEPA

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan)  stated on the 19th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Busan Economic Promotion Agency (BEPA, Director Park Gi-Sik). The MOU is entitled “MOU for the Open Campus* of Public Institutions Relocating to Busan Innovation City”.

   * The Open Campus program leverages the human and other resources of public institutions relocating to Busan to provide local college students with vocational and on-site job training.

Under the MOU, HF and BEPA are going to offer a customized youth education program. The program provides young people in Busan with lectures on finance, business administration, economics, and other knowledge and competencies required for jobs at HF, thereby enhancing their employability.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We are committed to strengthen the growth potential of our local communities by helping local young people build greater employability. We will continue our proactive efforts to fulfill our corporate social responsibility as a public institution.”

HF, at the same time, runs the ▲Retirees’ Finance Academy for prospective retirees and ▲JaeMitJiYe (才美之例) Housing Finance Lecture on housing finance and recruitment information.
