HF Shares Rice Cake Soup at Disability Center

- In celebration of New Year’s Day, HF offers rice cake soup and rice cake to 700 people with disabilities

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) stated on January 22, 2020, that in celebration of Lunar New Year's Day, HF staff visited the Nam-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled in Busan and held the '2020 Sharing New Year’s Luck' event.  

On that day, the HF Bogeumjari volunteers led by CEO Lee visited the welfare center, offering rice cake soup, the nation’s traditional New Year’s food, and handing out rice cakes to some 700 people with disabilities.

CEO Lee said, “We hope that you enjoy this soup, which we prepared with lots of love. We also wish you health and good luck in the New Year. We will carry out various social contribution activities to promote the welfare of people with disabilities, such as vehicle donation and youth scholarship programs.”

HF holds this New Year’s event each year at the Welfare Center. Last year, it launched the HF Dream Car Vehicle Donation Project and made vehicle donations to the Welfare Center in order to provide the disabled with increased mobility and social welfare workers with easier access to them.
