HF Offers a Helping Hand to Disabled People in the Community

- HF delivers three HF Dream Cars to disability centers

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) has recently donated three HF Dream Cars to disability centers in Busan, leading the effort to help people with disabilities in the local community.

HF announced on April 20, 2020, that to improve welfare services for these underprivileged people severely affected by the prolonged closure of local welfare centers due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HF donated three compact vehicles (worth KRW 41 million in total) to three disability centers in Busan through the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairperson Shin Jeong-Taek).

The small-size vehicles donated by HF are easy to drive on Busan’s narrow, winding roads and load and unload wheelchairs and walking aids. With their high usability, these vehicles are expected to speed up local welfare centers’ meal delivery and home visiting care services to people with disabilities and other underprivileged groups.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We hope that our vehicle donation will help our community members with special needs lead a better life. HF will continue to expand our corporate social responsibility for shared growth with our local community.”

Since launching the HF Dream Car donation project for people with disabilities last year, HF has donated 12 vehicles (KRW 166 million in total) to disability centers in Busan.
