May the Positive Power of Hope Empower Koreans

- HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan joins the Hope Relay Campaign Against COVID-19 

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on June 2, 2020, that HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan joined the Hope Relay Campaign Against COVID-19, sending a message of support to healthcare workers and the general public.

This social media campaign was launched to spread a message of hope to frontline healthcare workers, healthcare authorities, and other Koreans struggling from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. 

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan was named by Korea Southern Power CEO Shin Jeong-Sik as the next person to run the campaign. With his appointment as the campaign leader, HF posted messages of hope, including “We believe in the positive power of hope. Way to go, Korea!”, on Facebook and other SNS accounts. 

He said of the campaign, “The spring flowers Golden Bells carry the meaning of hope. It is my personal hope that the seeds of hope, as bright as Golden Bells, will sprout and blossom in the hearts of our healthcare workers and all the other Koreans devoting themselves to the ongoing fight against the coronavirus.”

To help the nationwide effort to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, HF has offered a helping hand to small business owners, children missing out on school meals, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in the local community by making cash, in-kind, and HF Dream Car donations and joining the Horticulture Farm Support Relay Campaign. 

CEO Lee will name Dongil Steel CEO Jang In-Hwa, who chairs Busan Sports Council, as the next to deliver messages of hope.
