HF Ensures Housing for the Vulnerable and Health and Safety for Seniors Living Alone

- HF College Volunteer Corps and other college volunteer groups jointly kick off their charity programs

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on May 28, 2020, that it held a ceremony at Heritage Theater in Busan Citizens’ Park to launch the 5th HF College Volunteer Corps.

The ceremony was held jointly with HF, Busan Metropolitan City Volunteer Center, and Good Day Foundation to launch their respective college volunteer groups. These groups will develop and run programs specifically designed to reflect the characteristics of their sponsoring institution through the end of the year.

In particular, the 5th HF College Volunteer Corps, which is made up of 30 college students, will work with HF’s employee Bogeumjari Volunteer Group in three different groups responsible for ▲ housing welfare, ▲ senior welfare, and ▲ community welfare programs through December.

They will also join a range of HF-led landmark social contribution programs, including ▲ “HF Dream House,” a home renovation program for economically vulnerable groups and ▲ “HF Happy Care Service” for the elderly living alone, proposing and sharing their ideas for giving back to the local community for shared growth.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “I am really grateful to these college students for taking the time to join our journey of sharing despite being busy with their studies and preparing for their future career. We hope that this program will help them grow with our local society and become socially responsible citizens.”
