HF Gives Potted Flowers to Older Adults Living Alone in Busan

- On the front lines of boosting the local economy, HF joins a horticulture producer support campaign

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on April 22, 2020, that it joined the Horticulture Farm Support Relay Campaign to support horticulture farms affected by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

To support flower farmers suffering lost sales from cancelled or postponed events and gatherings, such as school entrance ceremonies and weddings, due to the coronavirus outbreak, HF will hand out pots of peace lilies and other flowering plants to 2,000 seniors living alone in Busan through the Welfare Foundation for Lone Seniors (President Lee Jong-Won).

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We hope that this sharing of flowers of love will help flower farms facing difficulties, thus revitalizing the local economy and providing emotional support for the elderly living alone.” He recommended Korea Southern Power (CEO Shin Jeong-Sik) and Hyupsung General Construction (President Jung Cheol-Won) as the next institutions to join the relay campaign.

CEO Lee was selected by KB Kookmin Bank CEO Hur Yin to join the relay campaign.
