HF Spearheads Local Talent Cultivation 

- ‘HF Local Talent Scholarship’ and commemorative gifts offered to middle- and high-school students in Busan 

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on the 14th that it had offered the ’HF Local Talent Scholarship’ to the Busan Headquarters of Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea (Director Yeo Seung-Soo) on the 13th to help nurture local talents <see image below>.

The HF scholarships and gifts (wireless educational earphones) were awarded to 45 middle- and high-school students recommended by Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education for their excellence in academic performance and behavior.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “It is our hope that the ’HF Local Talent Scholarship’ will help these students grow into the future leaders of our community. HF will support these young people to pursue their studies without losing hope.”

From its relocation to Busan in 2014 to last year, HF has provided scholarships to a total of 175 local students, taking the lead in social contribution efforts to promote welfare for children and youth in the community.
