HF Wins the Minister of Education’s Award for Its Outstanding Fair and Blind Hiring Practices

- HF honored with a ministerial award for the second consecutive year after receiving the Minister of Economy and Finance Award in 2019

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) stated on the 4th that it was chosen as an exemplary public institution at the ‘2020 Fair and Blind Hiring Competition’ and received the Minister of Education’s Award.

The competition, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Human Resources Development Service of Korea, aims to recognize and disseminate best practices in blind hiring. At this year’s competition, a total of 16 private-sector and public-sector institutions were selected as finalists after assessment of their fair and blind hiring introduction efforts, performances, and success factors.

Honored with the Minister of Economy and Finance’s Award last year, HF won another ministerial prize for the second year in a row. HF was highly recognized for building its unique hiring brand entitled ‘HF Blind Hiring’ by using a blind ID in each recruiting process, disclosing assessment results, and reflecting the opinions of applicants.

An HF official said, “We feel deeply honored as our continued efforts for fair hiring have been acknowledged by ministerial awards two years in a row. HF will remain at the forefront of fair and applicant-friendly recruiting to match the level of equity expected by the general public.”
