HF Unveils ‘Partially Amortized Specially Arranged Jeonse Loan Guarantee’
- Available at the lowest guarantee fee rate of 0.05%
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on the 29th that it has launched the ‘Partially Amortized Specially Arranged Jeonse Loan Guarantee.’ This product offers relief for jeonse loan borrowers by providing them with a tax deduction for their loan repayment.
This guarantee product is available only to non-home-owning couples, requiring the amortization of at least 5% of the principal amount during the loan term at the lowest guarantee fee rate of 0.05%. It is also designed to bring down interest payments and offers a tax deduction for the principal and interest payments.
Furthermore, the product addresses the issue of automated loan default when a borrower fails to make an initially arranged principal payment in the existing partially amortized jeonse loan guarantee. After consultation with lending institutions, HF has added the feature of a one-time exemption from early payment fees for borrowers who are not able to make a principal payment. Under this feature, borrowers are allowed to make an interest payment only.
For further details on the product, please call HF at its call center (1688-8114) or contact lending institutions (Kookmin Bank, IBK, NH Bank, Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank, and KEB Hana Bank).
