HF starts TOSS-linked Service on Compact Jeonse Guarantee

-Jeonse Guarantee products information for young adults and newlyweds by region and age

  -Using FinTech, provide customized service of practical use

Korea Housing Finance Corporation(HF, CEO Choi Joon Woo) announced on August 12 that it starts information service via ‘Toss’(Viva Republica Inc.), the smartphone-based financial service application, as parts of the efforts to promote the Compact Jeonse Guarantee products* for young adults and newlyweds that it provides in MOUs-based collaboration with local governments.  

  * Refers to the Jeonse guarantee HF has provided to alleviate residential cost burdens on young adults and newlyweds, based on the MOUs with municipal governments. (Preferential treatment under certain conditions) 

The release of the service is to provide tailored information for those who want to take out Jeonse loans. Specifically, when an user inputs information such as his/her residential area or age on the “Find Government Subsides for You”menu on the App, Compact Jeonse Guarantee available in the area pops up, enabling the user to readily access to the information.

HF CEO Choi commented, “The collaboration with Toss is a move in a very meaningful direction in that it enables more young adults and newlyweds to access tailored information in using HF guarantee products. We will continue to promote our products via various channels and make sure that those in need would not be left in the dark and benefit from cost-saving HF guarantee products.  

HF has provided Jeonse and monthly rent guarantee products to support affordable housing for young adults and newlyweds with no homeownership, based on MOUs with total 18 local governments.(11 metropolitan and 7 municipal governments and counties).
