HF Appoints Yoo Sang-Dae, Former BOK Deputy Governor, as Vice President

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) stated on July 26, 2021, that it named former Bank of Korea Deputy Governor Yoo Sang-Dae as its Vice President. 

A graduate of Jemulpo High School in Incheon, the new HF Vice President majored in economics at Seoul National University and earned a master's degree and Ph.D in economics at the State University of New York. After joining the Bank of Korea in 1986, he served as Head of the Bond Market Analysis Team in the Financial Markets Department, Director of the International Department, Head of the New York Representative Office, and Director of the International Affairs Department. After decades of service in various key positions at the central bank, he was named the bank's Deputy Governor in May 2018. 

HF Vice President Yoo commented in his inaugural remarks that he will make his best efforts to keep HF at the forefront of promoting housing welfare for the public and advancing housing finance services by leveraging his 35 years of work experience in policy execution and international affairs as well as his financial expertise.
