"The 10th anniversary will lay the foundation for KHFC's next leap forward"

New Year's message from KHFC CEO Seo Jong-dae

On the 2nd, CEO Seo Jong-dae of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC, photo) held the opening ceremony for the year 2014 at the KHFC head office in Sejong-daero, Seoul. He said, "Marking the 10th anniversary of our establishment, we should overhaul our offerings in key business areas and make this year the very first step for our next takeoff."

"This year holds great significance as the 10th anniversary of KHFC's foundation, but at the same time, it represents a pivotal moment when we could fall behind if we do not prepare for full-fledged growth," explained Seo in his New Year's message. "To prepare for our next 10 years, we should provide a wider selection of financial instruments for consumers, overhaul and consolidate key products, and make every effort to ensure housing stability for low-income households and lessen their financial burdens for home ownership."

He went on to say, "We should get better and better everyday to provide low-income families with housing finance solutions worth over 70 trillion won this year. Let us build greater expertise in our respective areas and have a strong sense of responsibility and mission so we can take another leap forward."
