HF Provides Seniors with Personalized Jobs

- ‘HF Silver Job Program for Sharing Happiness’ offers financial support to create more jobs for seniors

As part of its social contribution efforts, HF has set plans to help create jobs for the elderly aged 60 years and over.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on November 19, 2018, that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Busan Community Chest and Busan Association of Senior Clubs on the same day. The MOU, entitled ‘HF Silver Job Program for Sharing Happiness,’ aims to create personalized jobs for senior citizens.

Under the MOU, HF will offer financial support to the workplaces run by Senior Clubs in 16 districts (and counties) of Busan, helping them hire more seniors for jobs like ▲shopping bag making, ▲parcel sorting and delivery in apartment complexes, and ▲parking lot management.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “We prepared this program to help the elderly with their livelihood this winter as their living costs rise due to higher heating bills. We will continue to take initiative to improve the livelihood of the elderly.”
