HF Delivers Briquettes to the Needy
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) stated on the 11th that its new and existing employees delivered 10,000 charcoal briquettes to their needy neighbors, including elderly people living alone and low-income families, under the HUFS Briquettes of Love program.
This year, HF carried out the annual briquette delivery program in the early summer after its decision that, as the rainy season is approaching, neighbors living in old, dilapidated houses need briquettes for heating to reduce dampness and prevent mold growth in their homes.
HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, “This briquette delivery program helps our new hires fulfill their social responsibilities as members of a public organization and develop a sense of fellowship with our existing employees.” He also added, “We will continue to expand our social contribution efforts throughout the future.”
