□ Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 28th that it has published a
book entitled South Korea's 70 Years of Housing Finance in an effort to provide an overview of the history of the nation's housing finance system and to further advance the system.

□ In this book, the 70 years of the nation's housing finance history from 1945 through 2015 are divided into four stages: ▲ the introduction period, ▲ growth period, ▲ rapid development period, and ▲ qualitative development period. With expert interviews included, it provides a vivid and detailed look into how the housing finance system has evolved amid the changes of the macro-economy, the financial markets, and the housing markets in each period.

□ HF CEO Kim Jae-Chun said in his foreword to the book, “I believe that this book will become an invaluable source of information for policy-makers, government officers, and researchers in the housing finance sector. It is my wish that this book will also serve as a useful guide for our transfer of know-how to foreign housing finance agencies and exchanges with them in the future.”

□ This book will be distributed to universities, public libraries, the Korean Association for Housing Policy Studies, other related academic societies, the National Assembly, and government agencies across the nation. It will also be available to the public on the HF homepage.*
